  16. "Transient" is a new electronic music group with dreams of the big time. At
  17. present we only have two members, Homer j and Naff. After knowing each other
  18. for years, we decided to put some of our tunes into an album length release.
  19. We're not out to sell any copies just yet, but you never can tell, can you?
  20. Although none of Naff's tunes appear on this particular album, he is still
  21. considered to be an integral part of Transient.

  23. Oh, by the way, if any group/individual would like to help release/spread
  24. our mods on a permanent basis, or if anyone is interested in joining up with
  25. us, or if you need a musician in your crew or music for your production,
  26. then just get in touch with us at one of the above addresses.

  30. This mod is my first uploaded tune ever and also one of my first (serious)
  31. attempts at an ambient slow techno style. After some quality touch-ups, it
  32. still sounded so damn nice, that i felt it should be included on the album.

  36. This mod took me about two and a half days to write. From the basic idea
  37. work, through sample editing/mixing, tracking and final touches, to the
  38. finished piece.

  40. It has a trancy sort of feel to it with some nice chords and analog rhythms.
  41. Note: To really appreciate the nice sound of this mod, (especially the quiet
  42. basses) listen to it through a stereo and use double bass and surround sound
  43. if you have them. Geez, i don't expect much, huh? :)

  45. All samples, except for the two voice ones, were taken from other mods.

  60. I have tried to credit as many samples as i can. Thanks to all above (and
  61. others) who provided these fine samples. I hope they don't mind too much.
  62. Feel free to re-use my samples or (god forbid) re-mix this mod, but if you
  63. do, it would be nice if you sent me a copy of whatever you come up with.
